After Nier Automata, many other anime also announced to delay the release schedule indefinitely due to the impact of the Covid pandemic in China.

After the release of the third episode, the producer of the anime Nier: Automata Ver1.1a again announced a delay. The reason given is that episode 4 of Anime Nier: Automata anime and many other works are currently delayed due to the influence of COVID-19. A tentative release date for the new episodes has yet to be set, and the series will re-air its first episodes over the next few weeks in Japan.

Ayakashi Triangle is a Japanese fantasy manga series written and illustrated by Kentaro Yabuki. It was serialized in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump magazine from June 2020 to April 2022, and has been ported to the Shounen Jump+ website since April 2022, with individual chapters published by Shueisha collected and published in twelve volumes as of January 2023. An anime television series adaptation by Connect premiered in January 2023.

And UniteUp! is a Japanese multimedia project created by Sony Music Entertainment Japan. It started with a YouTube channel developed in November 2021, with songs by various artists released on the channel. An anime series produced by CloverWorks premiered in January 2023.

There are also rumors that Anime “Misfit of Demon King Academy” will be the next name to be paused. Another reason given by animator Kanta Kamei is that the Lunar New Year is also part of the reason why employees don’t work even if they pay 5 times their salary, they still decide to take a break.
