Free Fire has lost the number 1 position of the most downloaded game in Southeast Asia, the name Lien Quan also followed when it failed to race the top name.

Some of the next high-grossing mobile games include Genshin Impact, Roblox and Tencent’s Lien Quan. Southeast Asia’s mobile games market also generated $218 million in player spending on the App Store and Google Play in December 2022, marking a decline of about 1% year-over-year.

Thailand was the No. 1 market by revenue in Southeast Asia in December 2022, generating $49 million, or 22.6% of total player spending in Southeast Asia. Indonesia ranked second in terms of revenue with 17.9%, followed by Singapore with 17.8%.

Last year, PUBG Mobile generated more than $4 million in Southeast Asia, a 71% increase from the previous month. This is considered the highest monthly increase in the top 10. The spike in sales coincided with the release of RPM Season 18, which introduced two different skins. In December, Malaysia accounted for 42% of PUBG Mobile player spending in Southeast Asia, followed by Thailand with 20.5% and Indonesia in third with 12.9%.
