Some of the latest images of the design of the iPhone 15 Pro duo have been leaked.
According to a source from leaker ShrimpApplePro posted on Douyin, the design of the volume up key and the mute button on the iPhone 15 Pro and 15 Pro Max will be changed.
Specifically, instead of separating 2 separate keys to adjust the volume, the iPhone 15 Pro models are expected to have a single long bar design to adjust the volume up / down. Meanwhile, the mute switch that has been present since the first iPhone in 2007 will be changed to a key to turn on or off the iPhone’s ringer.
Previous leaks also show that the buttons on the iPhone 15 Pro will be completed in solid form, integrating the Taptic Engines sensor similar to the Home key on the latest iPhone SE or the Force Touch trackpad on modern MacBooks.
The above improvements are expected to be applied only on two high-end iPhone 15 models. The iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus are expected to still use two physical volume buttons and a mute switch.
Recently, Apple Insider said that iPhone 15 Pro Max will break the screen border record with 1.81mm that Xiaomi 13 previously held. The black border width of this iPhone 15 Pro Max’s cover plate is only 1.55 mm, significantly thinner than the 2.17mm bezel on the iPhone 14 Pro Max and 2.42mm on the iPhone 13 Pro Max.
