After a long time of retirement, MaRin has returned to the professional League of Legends arena as the head coach of Team Liquid.
3 years ago, MaRin retired with Topsports Gaming shirt in LPL. Although after leaving SKT T1, MaRin has never been crowned champion again, but with what he showed at Worlds 2015, this star has been evaluated as one of the legends of the world LoL. After retiring, MaRin got married and worked as a streamer in Korea for a long time.
Recently, MaRin officially joined Team Liquid as head coach:

At the end of 2021, TL recruited a series of famous names such as Bjergsen, Bwipo, Hans sama, etc. with the ambition to dominate the LCS. However, this “super team” fell in the domestic tournament and didn’t even get to attend MSI and Worlds. Therefore, TL decided to “change blood” to the squad and return in 2023 with a new image.
TL parted ways with Bjergsen as soon as the summer season ended.
Currently, TL only has 3 players still under contract: Bwipo, Santorin and CoreJJ. Previously, there were many rumors that TL would recruit a “full Korean” squad, so many fans predicted that 2 more Korean players would join in the near future.
