The story-driven horror adventure game The Vanishing of Ethan Carter is being given away for free for 24 hours on the Epic Games Store platform.

The Vanishing of Ethan Carter puts players in the role of cold-headed detective Paul Prospero, participating in an investigation in the Red Creek valley after receiving a strange letter from Ethan Carter.
