Palworld delayed release on PS5 in Japan
Recently, in the announcement between the State of Play event of PlayStationPocketpair said Palworld will be available on PS5. However, a post on X’s account Palworld Japan said that the release plan for this game in Japan is currently uncertain.

Although the reason for this delay was not stated by Pocketpair, it is almost certain that this announcement is related to Nintendo’s patent infringement lawsuit targeting Palworld. Specifically, in the lawsuit filed by Nintendo on September 18, the Plaintiff requested “sanctions and damages” on the grounds that Palworlda game developed and published by Defendant, infringes multiple patent rights.
In an old announcement, Pocketpair also expressed its intention to oppose Nintendo’s lawsuit.
